Waymark is designed exclusively for iPad running iPadOS 17.0 or later. It is optimized for landscape orientation and supports Apple Pencil for drawing and annotation. Waymark is not available on iPhone, Mac, or other platforms.
An internet connection is required for live transcription, translation, AI analysis, and purchasing credit packs. You can review existing sessions, edit notes, and browse your session list offline.
No. Waymark uses a pay-as-you-go model with consumable credit packs. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no recurring charges. You purchase credits only when you need them.
Every new account receives a one-time free allocation of transcription minutes, translation minutes, and AI analysis credits. This allocation expires 30 days after signup. All features are available — no artificial restrictions on free accounts except the watermark on PDF exports and a 50-session lifetime cap.
Yes. Each credit pack expires 1 month after the date of purchase. Credits are consumed on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis — the oldest credits are used first. Expired, unused credits are forfeited and cannot be refunded.
Yes. All session content — transcripts, translations, notes, drawings, photos, and AI reports — is stored exclusively on your iPad. We never store your content on our servers. Audio is processed in real time and is not stored anywhere after transcription. All API communication is encrypted and cryptographically signed using Apple's App Attest.
No. Audio is streamed to our speech-to-text provider in real time during recording and is not stored — not on our servers, and not by the provider after processing. We never have access to your raw audio.
Your session data is only sent when you explicitly tap the "Analyze" button. It is never sent automatically. You are always in control of when and what is shared with the AI service. The data sent includes your transcript text, notes text, and up to 5 photos from the session.
Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID on any iPad and your credit balance syncs. However, session content is stored locally and does not sync between devices — each device has its own session library.
Uninstalling Waymark permanently deletes all session data from your iPad. This data cannot be recovered. Your server-side account (credit balances, purchase history) remains intact and will be available when you reinstall and sign in again.
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. We do not process refunds directly.
Go to Settings → Delete Account within the app. This immediately and permanently deletes all your server-side data, including authentication records, credit balances, purchase history, usage logs, and security keys.
